Inter focuses on a high press and direct attacking play through a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and immediately look to break the lines. The team seeks to control games by squeezing the space in the middle and using the width of the pitch to stretch the opposition.

Riley Reign sits between the posts to start the build up from the back. The defensive unit operates with a flat back four where Alex Grey and Lacey Jayne act as the full backs. Alex Grey pushes up to provide width on the left, while Lacey Jayne supports the right side. In the center, AJ Applegate and Luna Legend act as the central defenders, tasked to defend zonally and cover for each other when the high line is triggered. Luna Legend stays deep to sweep behind the line while AJ Applegate looks to step into midfield to help with ball progression.

The midfield consists of a three-man midfield with a carrier and creative outlets. Vic Marie and Eve Marlowe work to control the center, with Vic Marie acting to shield the defense and intercept passes. Eve Marlowe works to carry the ball forward into the half spaces. Megan Murkovski plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to link the midfield to the front three. This trio works to compress the midfield and prevent the opponent from playing through the lines.

Inter utilizes three attackers across the front to pressure the opposition back line. Katrina Moreno acts as a pressing centre-forward, working to pin the last defender and win the second ball. Valentina Nappi and Luna Star operate as wide wingers who hug the touchline to create maximum width. Valentina Nappi looks to cut inside to create goal scoring chances, while Luna Star stays wide to deliver crosses. The front three press in pairs to force a long ball from the opposition.

This formation offers the ability to press high in coordinated waves to win it back high up the pitch. Inter can also create wide overloads when the full backs overlap the wingers. The combination of a strong central trio and wide attackers allows the team to switch play quickly and isolate wide players in one on one situations.

The 4-3-3 formation provides Inter with a powerful platform for aggressive pressing and quick transitions. It is a lineup best suited for facing opponents that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
