Gyökeres acts as a lone striker and a pressing centre-forward. He works to pin the last defender and find the feet of the midfielders. The attack relies on Saka and Vinicius Jr to cut inside and create overloads in the final third. When Arsenal wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition. Gyökeres holds up the ball to allow the other players to arrive late into the box and attack the near post.
