Starting Lineup

RK · Thunten · Khenpo · Ngawang · Somtee · BoB · Sangay · Tsheltrim · P.T · Santa · Phendey

Seeking to dominate through high pressing and rapid transitions, this team operates within a 4-3-3 formation. The lineup focuses on winning the ball high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. By using a high line, the team looks to compress the space in the middle and create chances quickly through vertical passing.

RK acts as the last line of defense behind a flat back four. Ngawang and Somtee serve as the full backs, with Ngawang looking to overlap the winger to provide width while Somtee supports the left flank. In the center, Khenpo and Thunten form the defensive core, where Khenpo acts as a ball playing defender to start attacks and Thunten focuses on covering space and winning headers. The defensive unit works to stay compact and squeeze the space between the lines.

The midfield is built around a three man midfield with a carrier and a playmaker. BoB works to connect the defensive and attacking lines while Tsheltrim drives forward with the ball to break the line of the opposition. Sangay plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, looking to find pockets of space between the lines to create chances. This midfield unit is tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high and quickly recycle possession to keep the tempo up.

In the final third, the team employs three attackers across the front. P.T and Phendey act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create goal scoring opportunities, while Santa operates as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line. The wingers often pull wide to stretch the defence before moving into central areas. This setup is designed to create runs in behind and allow for combinations in tight spaces when the team attacks through the middle.

One major advantage for this lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, putting immediate pressure on the opposition goalkeeper and defenders. The team also benefits from wide overloads when Ngawang and Phendey combine to pin the last defender. This creates space for Sangay to arrive late into the box and exploit the gaps left by shifting defenders.

This 4-3-3 formation creates a high intensity game that relies on heavy pressing and quick verticality. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back or lack the speed to defend against rapid transitions.
