To dominate games through heavy pressure, Liverpool uses a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and attack by moving the ball vertically. The goal is to use pressing to force errors and move the ball quickly toward the goal.

Guipooh stays between the posts to command the area and organize the back line. A back four forms the base with Yuushiiz and EveTeller operating as the two central defenders. Yuushiiz and EveTeller must hold the line and cover for each other to prevent runners from breaking the line. The full backs, LB and lnwpong, are expected to push up to support the attack while tracking back to defend against counters. This unit works to squeeze the space and maintain a compact block when defending.

In the middle of the pitch, the team uses a three-man midfield to link the defence and attack. Always_gethigh plays as an attacking ten to find pockets of space between the lines. Senorita and 9nie3hree occupy the central roles to control the tempo and win the second ball. Senorita often drops deep to help the defence, while 9nie3hree works to carry the ball forward. This trio is essential to recycle possession and progress through the thirds.

The attack features three players across the front to stretch the defence. LegendEnergy and Tang/Taw act as wide wingers who look to cut inside or get to the byline. Taw/Tang works as a pressing centre-forward to lead the press from the front and find the feet of the midfielders. The wingers look to isolate defenders in one on one situations and create space for cutbacks from the byline. This movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow for quick combinations in the final third.

This formation offers the ability to press high in waves. By having LegendEnergy, Tang/Taw, and Taw/Tang all pressing the opposition back line, Liverpool can win it back high up the pitch. The team also gains huge speed of transition because the wide players and Always_gethigh are ready to sprint forward as soon as the ball is recovered. The overlapping runs from LB and lnwpong also create wide overloads that force the opposition to defend deep.

Liverpool relies on a high energy system to overwhelm opponents with directness and pressure. This formation is best suited for matches against teams that try to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
