Starting Lineup
Basudev · Paing H · Lionel · Kg Chit · THUTA · Ko Kyaw · PB · Robin · Thant Zin · Kyaw Myo Naing · Hein ZayarFocusing on high pressing and quick transitions, this team operates with a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and use vertical passing to catch opponents off guard. The team seeks to control the tempo through high energy and rapid movement in the final third.
THUTA starts between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line functions as a flat back four, where PB acts as a defensive wing back to hold the wide position. Hein Zayar operates as a left back, looking to overlap to provide width, while Kyaw Myo Naing and Thant Zin form the central pairing. Kyaw Myo Naing provides aerial strength and presence, while Thant Zin acts as a covering defender to sweep behind a high line when the team pushes up.
The midfield is a three-man midfield with a carrier to progress play. Ko Kyaw sits in the middle to shield the defence and recycle possession. To his left, Robin works to connect the defensive and attacking lines by receiving the ball and finding teammates in advanced positions. Lionel operates on the right side of the trio to drive forward with the ball and press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch.
In the attacking third, the team utilizes three attackers across the front. Paing H plays as an inverted winger on the left, cutting inside to create space for the left back. On the opposite flank, Basudev acts as a wide winger who hugs the touchline to stretch the defence. Kg Chit leads the line as a pressing centre-forward, tasked to harass the opposition back line and find the feet of the striker when the midfielders advance.
This formation offers significant tactical advantages, particularly through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By using the front three to force a long ball, the midfield and defensive unit can easily win the second ball. The team also benefits from wide overloads when the wingers and full backs combine to create situations to whip it in or cut it back.
This 4-3-3 lineup is designed to overwhelm opponents through aggressive pressing and rapid transitions. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back or lack control in the wide areas.
