Bromley focuses on a direct and vertical style of play through a 4-2-4 formation. This lineup is built to overwhelm opponents in the final third and use quick transitions to exploit space behind the defense. By pushing many players forward, the team looks to score quickly and maintain high pressure in the attacking half.

Beadle stays between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit consists of a flat back four where Acheampong and Hall operate as full backs to provide width. In the center, Heaven and Jemide act as the primary defenders to block crosses and win aerial duels. They must sit deep or step up together to keep the defensive line compact and prevent runners from breaking the line.

The midfield relies on a double pivot to control the center of the pitch. Rice and Armstrong work as the two central midfielders to shield the defense and recycle possession. One player often holds position to prevent counter attacks while the other looks to drive forward and connect the defense to the front four. Their main job is to intercept passes and quickly switch play to the wide players.

The attacking unit uses four players to stretch the opposition. Watson and Koumas act as wide wingers, looking to cut inside or deliver crosses into the box. In the center, McCausland and Wheatley operate as two forwards to occupy the central defenders. This front four is designed to press high and force mistakes from the opposition back line through intense running.

One major advantage for Bromley is the ability to create wide overloads when the full backs push up to support the wingers. The formation also allows for great speed of transition, as the two central midfielders can immediately find the four attackers once possession is won. This creates many one on one situations for the wingers in the final third.
