The midfield relies on a double pivot consisting of Barber and Pratt. These two players must sit deep to shield the defense and cover the gaps left by the aggressive wide players. Barber and Pratt act as the engine room, looking to win the ball back and immediately break the line with vertical passes. They connect the defensive unit to the heavy front line, ensuring the team does not get caught out on the break.

In the attacking phase, the team uses four forwards to stretch the opposition. Bae Jun Ho stays wide on the left to cut inside, while Manhoef uses his pace on the right wing.
