Starting Lineup

Aliran · Allies · Yotam · Shilo · Amit · Nir · Itzik · Aviv · Karnial · Ariel · Itay

This team focuses on a high press and verticality through a 4-3-3 formation. The goal is to win the ball high up the pitch and move quickly toward the opposition goal. This lineup aims to stretch the defence by using wide players and a heavy midfield presence to dominate the central areas.

Itay stays between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back four operates as a zonal line with Amit acting as a left back to provide width. Shilo plays as the right back and can push up to overlap the winger. In the middle of the defence, Yotam and Aliran work together to hold the line and cover space behind their teammates. They focus on clearing the lines and winning the second ball when the opposition tries to play out from the back.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier to progress play. Allies sits in the center to shield the defence and recycle possession. To his left, Itzik acts as a link between the defence and attack, often looking to break the line with vertical passes. Nir plays on the right side of the midfield trio to drive forward with the ball and press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch. This unit works to compress the midfield and deny the pivot of the opponent.

In the final third, the team uses three attackers across the front. Karnial acts as the lone striker, working to find the feet of the striker or hold up the ball to allow others to join. On the wings, Aviv and Ariel play as inverted wingers who cut inside to create goalscoring chances. Ariel stays wide to stretch the defence before moving into central areas, while Aviv looks to arrive late into the box. This attacking setup is designed to create runs in behind and facilitate quick combinations in tight spaces.

The team benefits from the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force a long ball from the opponent. They also create wide overloads from overlapping full backs like Amit and Shilo. This setup allows for a high degree of compactness when defending in a mid-block.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on intense pressing and quick transitions to overwhelm opponents. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
