LAUTARO (Pio Esposito) · M.THURAM (V.Carboni*) · GNONTO* (Bonny) · DIMARCO (R.Sessegnon*) · KAYODE* (Mingueza*) · SUCIC (Q.Timber*, Diouf) · BARELLA (A.Stankovic*, Akinsanmiro) · BASTONI (Augusto) · BISSECK (Alexiou) · AKANJI (Van Hecke*) · JOSEP (Atubolu*)

Inter focuses on controlling the game through high pressing and verticality in a 3-4-3. This lineup aims to dominate territory by squeezing the pitch and moving the ball quickly into the final third. The team relies on a high defensive line to keep the distance between players short, which allows for quick recovery when they lose the ball.

In the defensive phase, JOSEP stays between the posts to organize the back three. AKANJI operates as the right center back, using his strength and ability to cover wide spaces when the wingbacks push high. BASTONI plays on the left side of the back three, acting as a ball playing defender with a high passing range to start attacks. BISSECK holds the center of the defense to remain dominant in the air and protect the middle. The wingbacks must track back constantly to help the center backs when facing wide attacks.

The midfield relies on a central block to connect the defense and attack. BARELLA plays in a deeper role to shield the back three and drive the ball forward with high energy. SUCIC works alongside him to connect the lines and keep possession in the middle of the park. On the flanks, DIMARCO acts as a left midfielder who likes to overlap and provide crosses, while KAYODE operates on the right to maintain width. This midfield unit must shift together to prevent the opposition from breaking through the center.

Inter utilizes three attackers to stretch the opposition defense. LAUTARO leads the line as the main striker, often dropping deep to hold up the ball and create space for his teammates. M.THURAM plays on the left and likes to cut inside to create goal scoring chances, while GNONTO stays wide on the right to provide width. The front three press in unison to force mistakes high up the pitch and win the ball back near the opponent goal.

This formation offers several tactical advantages through its specific movement. The team creates wide overloads when DIMARCO pushes up to join the attack, forcing the opposition to choose between marking the winger or the crosser. Inter can also press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and the midfield to trap opponents in their own half. The ability of BASTONI to break the line with a pass also creates immediate vertical threats.

The 3-4-3 formation provides Inter with a heavy presence in both central and wide areas. This setup is best suited for matches where the team needs to dominate possession and pin the opponent into a low block.
