Inter focuses on verticality and aggressive pressing through a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup aims to control the pitch by squeezing opponents in their own half and moving the ball quickly toward the goal. ATUBOLU acts as the last line of defense behind a back three. BASTONI operates as the left central defender, using his passing range to start attacks from deep, while AKANJI provides cover as the right central defender. BISSECK sits in the middle to hold the line and manage aerial duels. The back unit can step up to catch attackers offside or drop back to sit deep when facing long balls.

The midfield operates with a double pivot to control the center of the pitch. BARELLA drives forward to break the line with his energy while Q.TIMBER* acts as the captain and holds his position to shield the defense. The wide players provide the necessary width for Inter. DIMARCO pushes up as a left midfielder to provide crosses, and KAYODE* performs similar duties on the right side to stretch the opponent.

The attack is built around a trio that creates constant movement. M.THURAM leads the line as the lone striker, using his strength to hold up the ball and link play. LAUTARO moves from the right wing toward the center to find scoring opportunities, and GNONTO* occupies the left wing to cut inside. This front line presses the opposition defenders to force turnovers high up the pitch.

One major strength is the ability to create wide overloads when DIMARCO and KAYODE* push high. This forces the opposition wingers to track back and leaves them outnumbered. Another advantage is the speed of transition, as the midfield can quickly switch play to the wide areas. The compactness of the back three and the midfield double pivot makes it very difficult for teams to play through the middle.
