ILVAS (GK) · BIMA (LWB) · AGUS (CB) · ARIS (CB) · SURYA (RWB) · FLORENSIUS (CDM) · RIKI (CM) · EGI (CM) · ANAN (LW) · RONALD (RW) · PIO (ST)A high press and aggressive verticality define this lineup, which utilizes a 4-3-3 formation. The team looks to win it back high up the pitch and immediately push forward to catch the opposition out of position. This system is built to play with intensity, using quick transitions to punish teams that try to play out from the back.
ILVAS guards the goal as the goalkeeper. Behind the midfield, a flat back four provides the base for the defensive unit. ARIS and AGUS act as the central defenders, where AGUS works to cover the space behind while ARIS stays compact to block the runners. SURYA operates as a right back to provide width, while BIMA plays as a left back. The defensive unit works to squeeze the space and maintain a high line to keep the distance between the lines short.
The midfield functions with a single pivot and two central midfielders. FLORENSIUS sits in front of the defense to shield the back four and recycle possession. RIKI and EGI operate in the half spaces, acting as the engine of the team. RIKI looks to drive forward with the ball to break the line, while EGI connects the defensive and attacking lines by receiving the ball and looking to play through the lines. This trio works to compress the midfield and prevent the opponent from finding space between the units.
In the attacking third, the team uses three attackers. PIO leads the line as a pressing centre-forward to harass the opposition defenders. On the flanks, ANAN and RONALD play as wide wingers. ANAN tends to cut inside to create goalscoring chances, while RONALD stays wide to stretch the defence and whip it in from deep positions. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball, allowing the defensive unit to win the second ball and start a new attack.
One major advantage is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which puts immediate pressure on the opposing goalkeeper and defenders. The team also benefits from wide overloads when SURYA and BIMA push up to support the wingers. This creates many one on one situations for ANAN and RONALD, making the transition from defense to attack very fast.
This 4-3-3 formation relies on high intensity and quick recovery of the ball. It is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
