MOLLICA and SANGARE cover the wide areas of the back three, while INTZIDIS sits centrally to sweep behind the line and collect long balls. This trio works to hold the line and clear the lines when under heavy pressure.

The midfield uses a box-like configuration with two central players and two wide players. VALENCA and BELLUSO form a double pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. VALENCA acts as the primary carrier to drive forward with the ball, while BELLUSO looks to sit deep and play through the lines.
