Vlasic operates on the left side as an inverted winger, looking to cut inside and create chances, while Aboukhlal stays wide on the right to pull defenders away from the center. These attackers must press in coordinated waves to force turnovers high up the pitch.

One major advantage for Torino is the ability to create wide overloads when Lazaro and Pedersen push up to support the wingers. This forces the opposition to commit more players to the flanks, which can leave the center open for Casadei or Ilic to make late runs.
