Starting Lineup

This team relies on a high press and quick transitions to disrupt the opponent using a 4-5-1 formation. The lineup aims to squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch while staying compact to force mistakes from the opposition. By keeping the distances between the lines small, the team looks to win it back high up the pitch and strike before the defense can settle.

Fränky the Cat guards the goal and acts as the first line of defense when the team plays out from the back. A flat back four provides the foundation for the defensive block. Flo and Jimmy act as the central defenders, with Jimmy looking to win the header and Flo covering the space behind when the line steps up. Jarema plays as a defensive wing back to protect the right side, while Pulvi/Ole operates as an attacking wing back to provide width on the left. This unit works together to hold a compact shape and shift side to side to block runners.

The midfield is a five man unit that focuses on controlling the central zone. Yunshin and Pätrick form a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Franz and Daniel work as inverted eights to connect the defensive and attacking lines, with Franz driving forward with the ball to break the line. Matze plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find the feet of the striker and create chances in tight spaces. This midfield group is designed to press in pairs to deny the pivot and force the opponent into wide areas.

Up front, Huis operates as a lone striker who leads the press from the front. He works to pin the last defender and hold up the ball to allow the midfielders to arrive late into the box. The attackers focus on combinations in transition, using the width provided by Pulvi/Ole to stretch the defense. When the ball is won, the team looks to hit in behind on the transition, with Matze and the wide midfielders looking to play through the lines to find Huis in central positions.
