In goal, 1 guards the net and oversees the defensive unit. The back line sits as a flat back four with Sarlija acting as the right center back and 22 covering the left center back position. Both 38 and 32 act as full backs to provide width and cover the flanks. Sarlija and 22 must stay compact to prevent through balls, while 38 and 32 often push up to support the attack or drop back to track runners. The whole unit must hold a high line to keep the distance between the defense and the midfield small.

The midfield utilizes a double pivot to maintain control of the center. Player 4 and 23 operate as the two central midfielders who must work tirelessly to bridge the gap between the defense and the attack. These two players hold the central zone, intercepting passes and breaking the line with vertical runs. They shield the back four and must cover large amounts of ground when the team loses possession. Their main job is to win the ball and quickly find the four attackers in advanced positions.

The attacking unit is built around two center forwards, 21 and 11, who stay central to occupy the opposing center backs. They work to hold up the ball and create space for the wide players, 9 and 30. The wingers, 9 on the left and 30 on the right, look to cut inside or stay wide to stretch the defense. This front line presses the opposition intensely from the front, trying to force mistakes in the buildup phase.
