V.Tsygankov and O.Hutsulyak act as inverted attackers who cut inside to create chances, while the width comes from the wide midfielders drifting out or the full backs overlapping. The attack is designed to create chaos in the box through crosses and quick combinations around the penalty area.

Ukraine gains a major advantage through their ability to congest the central midfield area, making it hard for opponents to play through the center. The presence of O.Zinchenko allows the more creative players like G.Sudakov to push higher without leaving the defense exposed. Another strength lies in the ability to transition quickly, using the ball carrying skills of the wide players to catch a retreating defense off guard.
