A focus on verticality and high pressing defines the tactical identity for Leeds, who utilize a 2-5-3 formation. Okafor stays wide on the left to provide crosses, while Gnonto cuts inside from the right to create goal scoring chances with his dribbling. Piroe acts as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and make runs into the channels to stretch the defense. The movement of Aaronson between the lines forces defenders to make difficult decisions about whether to step up or drop deep.
