A heavy emphasis on defensive solidity and counter attacking defines this lineup in a 4-5-1. The team looks to sit deep and wait for the opposition to overcommit before looking to hit them on the break. This formation is built to congest the central areas and force the opponent into wide positions where they are less dangerous.

Будківський guards the goal while the defensive unit maintains a compact block. A flat back four consisting of Мендоса at right back and Гуцуляк at left back provides the width when needed, though they primarily focus on defending the flanks. Оба and Яшарі operate as the two central defenders, working to hold the line and win the second ball. The unit works to stay narrow to deny central penetration and force the opposition to play long.

The midfield consists of a five man unit that can shift easily to cover spaces. Калюжний acts as a single pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. Ahead of him, Бабогло and Шабанов operate as two central midfielders who look to connect the defensive and attacking lines. They are tasked to press in a mid-block and pick up runners. On the flanks, Караваєв and Крупський provide the width, tasked to track back and help the full backs while looking to carry the ball forward during transitions.

In the attacking phase, the team relies on a lone striker, Кемкін, to lead the line. He must work to hold up the ball and find the feet of the striker when the midfield pushes up. Since there is only one striker, the wide players like Караваєв and Крупський must often cut inside or provide support to prevent the striker from being isolated. The goal is to use the pace of the transition to find gaps in the opposition defence through quick passing.

The main tactical advantages of this 4-5-1 formation are the extreme compactness when defending and the ability to create numerical superiority in the central midfield zone. By packing the middle with Калюжний, Бабогло, and Шабанов, the team makes it very difficult for opponents to play through the lines. This setup also allows for quick transitions where the wingers can immediately stretch the defence once the ball is won.

This formation is a defensive wall built to absorb pressure and strike with precision. It is best suited for matches against dominant teams that hold high possession.
