André Ramalho provides aerial strength and helps organize the line. Matheuzinho and Bidu can push forward to provide width, but they must track back to cover the wide areas. The midfield functions as a unit to bridge the gap between the defense and the attack. Raniele acts as the shield, sitting deep to intercept play and protect the center backs. Bidon works alongside him to drive the ball forward and connect the lines. Garro operates in the advanced role, looking to break the line with vertical passes and create chances for the forwards. Corinthians uses three attackers to pressure the opponent's backline. Depay leads the way as a striker, often dropping deeper to hold up the ball and drag defenders out of position. Vitinho and Dieguinho act as wide attackers, looking to cut inside and threaten the goal. Vitinho uses his dribbling style to beat his marker, while Dieguinho provides width on the right. The front three press in coordinated waves to force turnovers high up the pitch.
