Kiddo plays as the left back, ready to push forward and provide width, while Yusif operates as the right back to support the flanks. In the center, Óskar and Geiri form the defensive pairing, with Óskar acting as a ball playing defender to help play short from the back. The unit works together to squeeze the space and set the offside trap to keep the opposition from finding room.

The midfield is a busy engine room consisting of a single pivot and four attacking midfielders. Flóki sits in the deep position to shield the defense and protect the center backs.
