Inter focuses on a high press and rapid verticality through a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup seeks to control the pitch by squeezing the space in the opponent half and using wide areas to stretch the defense. Josep stays between the posts to organize the back line. The defense operates with a back three consisting of Akanji, Bastoni, and Bisseck. The midfield works in a box style to control the center of the pitch. Barella and Q.Timber form the central engine room where Barella uses his intense pressing and work rate to win back possession. Q.Timber helps to shield the defense and connect the back three to the attack. Dimarco plays as a left wing back, pushing high to provide width and delivery, while Mingueza operates on the right to balance the formation.

The attacking unit relies on three players to pressure the opposition defense. Lautaro leads the line as a lone striker, using his movement to hold up the ball and create space for others. On the flanks, Chiesa and M.Thuram act as wide attackers. Chiesa looks to cut inside to threaten the goal, while M.Thuram uses his pace and dribbling to drive at defenders.
