Starting Lineup

TIGAS (01) · NANDO (02) · ISSAC · GLEISON · DIEGO · CRIS · RAMALHO · PAULÃO · LUAN · WESLEY · MATHEUS

High intensity pressing and vertical attacking define this lineup, which operates in a 3-3-4 formation. This team looks to win it back high up the pitch to catch opponents before they can organize. By spreading the play across the pitch, they aim to stretch the defence and create chaos in the final third.

TIGAS acts as the last line of defence behind a narrow defensive block. The back three features NANDO in the middle, acting as the central pillar to defend zonally. To his left, GLEISON operates as a wide centre-back to cover the space, while ISSAC sits on the right to defend the flank. This trio must stay compact to prevent being split by through balls, with NANDO often stepping up to intercept play.

In the middle of the pitch, the team utilizes a three-man midfield with a carrier to transition the ball. LUAN sits in the centre to connect the defensive and attacking lines, providing a link for the defenders. On either side, CRIS and DIEGO work to squeeze the space in the middle. DIEGO and CRIS must be ready to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch, ensuring the midfield does not get bypassed easily.

The attacking unit is built around a heavy front four that aims to pin the last defender. RAMALHO and MATHEUS operate as a central partnership, often playing as two pressing centre-forwards to force long balls from the opposition. On the flanks, WESLEY and PAULÃO act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to create maximum width. This combination allows the team to attack in combinations, using the width to create space for the two central strikers to find the feet of the striker or run in behind.

One major advantage of this setup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which can quickly turn possession into a scoring chance. The presence of four attackers makes it difficult for a back four to defend, as it often forces the opposition into a low block. Additionally, the width provided by WESLEY and PAULÃO creates wide overloads when the midfield pushes forward.

This formation relies on extreme aggression to dominate games through direct attacking. It is best suited for matches against opponents who struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
