A high press and rapid transition identity defines this lineup using a 5-2-3. This team looks to win the ball high up the pitch and strike quickly before the opposition can settle. The formation is built to use the full width of the pitch while maintaining a heavy presence in the final third.

Azizi starts between the posts to command his area. The defensive unit operates with a back three consisting of Muiz as the central anchor, with Amirul and Azizul Faiz providing cover on either side. Muiz acts as the primary presence to clear the lines and manage the central zone. Wan and Faiz operate as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and stretching the opposition defense. They must track back to form a five man line when the team drops into a low block, ensuring the flanks are protected.

In the middle of the pitch, the team utilizes a double pivot to control the central zone. Ali and Pikay work to control the tempo and connect the defense to the attack. Ali and Pikay must press aggressively to win the ball high and prevent the opponent from playing out from the back. They serve as the engine of the team, with one player often dropping deeper to shield the defenders while the other looks to carry the ball forward. This pairing is vital for recycling possession and maintaining the team balance.

The attacking front line uses three attackers to pin the opposition back. Adib leads the line as a lone striker, looking to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. On the flanks, Din and Azizul QC act as wide wingers who want to isolate defenders in one on one situations. Din and Azizul QC often cut inside to create central overloads, allowing Wan and Faiz to overlap and whip deliveries into the box. This movement creates many chances for Adib to attack the near post or the far post.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to create wide overloads. By using Wan and Faiz to push high, the team can overwhelm the opposition flanks and create space in the middle. The setup also provides great compactness when defending, as the wing backs can quickly drop to form a narrow defensive block. This makes it very difficult for opponents to find gaps between the lines or play through the center.
