This defensive unit maintains a high line to keep the distances between players short and compact.

The midfield relies on a single pivot system to control the center of the pitch. Mvondo sits in front of the defense to shield the back four and intercept passes. To his right, Camara works to drive the ball forward and connect the play. On the left, Sudakov operates as the creative engine to break the line with his passing.
