M. Rangel sits between the posts to command the penalty area. The defensive unit operates in a flat back four to maintain a compact shape when the team sits deep. Klaus acts as a central defender who is dominant in the air, while Kayky A. provides cover to ensure the line remains tight. João Lucas plays as a right back who can overlap the winger, whereas Jorge functions as a left back tasked with tracking back to defend the flank.
