Starting Lineup
Sangam · Alex · Sushant · Ridam · U.Sushant · Subhodh · Aashik · Sagar · Pankaj · Aayush · SudipThis team focuses on high pressing and rapid verticality through a 3-4-3 formation. The lineup is built to squeeze the pitch and win the ball high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. By using a heavy front line, the team aims to turn defensive actions into instant goal-scoring chances through quick transitions.
Sangam stays between the posts to oversee the defensive unit. The back line operates as a back three with Alex, Aayush, and Sushant. Alex sits in the middle to organize the line and cover space, while Aayush and Sushant act as wide centre-backs to handle individual attackers and win the second ball. This trio works together to hold a high line and defend zonally, ensuring they can step up to catch strikers offside or sweep behind the midfield.
The midfield works as a box to control the center of the pitch. Pankaj and Sudip act as a double pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. They protect the space in front of the back three and look to win it back quickly. In front of them, Aashik and Subhodh operate in the half-spaces as two tens. Aashik and Subhodh press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and connect the defensive and attacking lines by playing through the lines.
The attacking front line uses three attackers to stretch the defence. Ridam leads the line as a lone striker who works to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. On the flanks, U.Sushant and Sagar act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to spread the width of the pitch. U.Sushant and Sagar look to cut inside to create overloads, while their movements allow Ridam to find space in the channels or receive the ball in tight spaces to link up with the advancing midfielders.
One major advantage of this formation is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three and two attacking midfielders to force long balls. The team also benefits from wide overloads when Aashik or Subhodh combine with the wingers to isolate one on one situations. This aggressive setup creates constant pressure on the opposition back line and forces them into mistakes.
This 3-4-3 formation provides a heavy offensive presence that relies on winning the ball in advanced areas. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back or lack the pace to handle quick counters.
