Focusing on aggressive verticality and heavy offensive pressure, this team operates in a 2-4-4 formation. The lineup aims to overwhelm opponents by packing the final third and forcing errors in the middle of the pitch. By committing so many players forward, the team seeks to win it back high up the pitch and exploit spaces immediately.

KELVIN sits between the posts to anchor the back line. In front of him, SHELDON and MARVIN form a narrow two man defensive block. These central defenders must be ready to cover large amounts of space behind them as the rest of the team pushes up. They act as the last line of defense, needing to win the second ball and clear the lines when the opposition tries to counter.

The midfield works to control the center and bridge the gap to the attack. AUBREY acts as a single pivot to shield the two defenders and protect the center. To her side, IAN and CHRIS operate as the side midfielders, with IAN working the right and CHRIS working the left to drive forward with the ball. KHALEEM plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to play through the lines and find the forwards in tight spaces.

The attacking unit is designed to stretch the defence across the entire width of the pitch. LEVI stays wide on the left as an inverted winger, while KEVIN occupies the right wing to provide width. In the center, CARLOS and JASON operate as a two man partnership of forwards. This combination allows for link up play between the lines and makes it easier to hit in behind on the transition. They press from the front to force the opposition back into their own box.

This aggressive lineup offers massive numerical superiority in the attacking third. By using four players in the final line, the team creates constant wide overloads and central threats. The ability to press in high waves makes it very difficult for opponents to play out from the back or find time to settle.

This 2-4-4 formation is built for extreme offensive dominance and high pressing. It is best suited for games where the team needs to chase a result or face an opponent that struggles to handle intense pressure.
