By pressing from the front, the lineup works to win the ball back early and push directly into the attacking third.

In goal, Justo acts as the last line of defense to sweep behind the back line. The defensive unit operates with a flat back four where David and Manuel provide width as full backs. Luis and Josué occupy the central positions, where they must hold the line and win the second ball to prevent direct attacks. David and Manuel are expected to push up when the team has possession, but they must track back quickly to defend against long balls.

The midfield works as a three-man unit with a focus on controlling the central zone. Jason and Mads operate in the middle to connect the defense and the attack, with one of them often dropping between the center backs to help play out from the back. Juan plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the creative link to play through the lines. Juan is tasked to find the feet of the striker or slip passes to the wingers, while Jason and Mads focus on pressing in a mid-block to win possession.

The attack features three players across the front designed to pin the last defender. Jaime operates as a lone striker to hold up the ball and link with the midfield. Byron and Jacob act as wide wingers, with Byron cutting inside to create chaos and Jacob looking to get to the byline. This setup creates many opportunities for overlaps from wide and allows the team to attack in combinations. The forwards must press the opposition back line to force a long ball.

One major strength of this formation is the ability to create wide overloads when Manuel and David push high. The team also benefits from numerical superiority in the central areas when Juan drops deep to join the midfield. This helps the team to recycle possession and move the ball quickly from one side to the other.
