They hold the line to keep the team compact when the opposition tries to play through the thirds.

The midfield functions with a three man midfield with a carrier and a creative presence. NEESKENS works as a central midfielder to drive forward with the ball and help progress through the thirds, while YOUSSOUF operates in the left central role to help recycle possession and shield the defence. GAËL plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the link between the middle third and the attack. This trio works to squeeze the space in the center of the pitch and deny the turn for opposing players.

In the final third, the attack uses three attackers across the front. GRADY plays as a left winger who likes to cut inside to create goalscoring chances, while YANNICK operates on the right wing to stretch the defence and get to the byline. CÉDRIC leads the line as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and find the feet of the oncoming runners. The wingers and the striker press from the front to trigger a press against the opponent's back line, creating chances through quick combinations.
