Marcelo acts as the last line of defense in goal. The back line functions as a flat back four, with João and Jorge occupying the wide positions. João is expected to push up to support the attack, while Jorge provides cover on the left. In the center, Kayky and Reynaldo maintain a high line to squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch. Kayky and Reynaldo must be ready to step up to intercept passes or drop back to cover runs in behind.

The midfield utilizes a three-man midfield with a carrier and an attacking presence. Patrick and Víctor work to control the center, with Patrick often looking to protect the back four and Víctor driving forward with the ball to link play. Nathan plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, operating in the hole to find gaps in the opposition defense. Nathan is tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch, while the other two midfielders focus on recycling possession and keeping the team compact.

In the attacking third, the team employs three attackers across the front. Alef and Yago act as inverted wingers who cut inside to create numerical superiority in the central areas. João leads the line as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow Alef and Yago to arrive late into the box. When the team wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition through quick passes to the wide players.

One major advantage of this formation is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build from the back. The team can also create wide overloads when Jorge and Alef combine to pin the opposing full back. This allows the central players to find more space to operate.
