Staněk acts as the last line of defense between the posts. The back three consists of Hranáč, Krejčí, and Holeš who must maintain a high line to compress the space in the middle of the pitch. A central midfield pairing of Sadílek and Červ controls the middle third. Sadílek drives the ball forward into space, while Červ stays deeper to shield the defense and link play from the back. On the flanks, Douděra and Jurásek function as wing backs, providing width and tracking back to support the defensive unit. Provod and Šulc operate as wide attackers, looking to cut inside into the half spaces or stay wide to receive crosses. These forwards are the first line of defense, pressing the opponent's defenders to force mistakes.

Czechia gains a significant advantage through the width provided by Douděra and Jurásek, which creates overloads against opposing wingers. The team also benefits from the speed of transition when Sadílek or Červ win the ball and immediately find the front three.
