A high press and heavy reliance on winning the second ball defines this lineup, which operates within a 4-5-1 formation. The team aims to squeeze the space in the middle of the pitch and force long balls from the opposition. By keeping the lines close together, the team intends to win it back high up the pitch and use quick transitions to catch the opponent off guard.

M. Rangel guards the goal and acts as the last line of defense when the team sits in a mid-block. The back four consists of João Lucas at right back and Sávio at left back, both of whom must track back to cover wide areas. Klaus and Samir form the central defensive pairing, where Klaus provides aerial strength while Samir acts as a covering defender to sweep behind the high line. This defensive unit works together to hold a compact shape and deny the turn to any incoming attackers.

The midfield is a dense five man unit designed to compress the midfield and disrupt passing lanes. Patrick plays as a single pivot to shield the defense, while L. Picco (C) sits alongside him to help win the second ball. D. Hernández operates as a central midfielder who connects the defensive and attacking lines. Vitor Bueno and Y. Pikachu occupy the left and right central spaces to press aggressively and pick up runners moving between the lines. This group works to ensure the opposition cannot play through the thirds easily.

A lone striker, A. Bareiro, leads the line as a pressing centre forward to harass the opposition back line. Because the team lacks natural width in the front three, the attack relies on the midfielders to arrive late into the box or for the full backs to overlap the winger. A. Bareiro must hold up the ball to allow the midfield to push up the pitch. The goal is to use combinations in tight spaces to create chances or to hit in behind on the transition once the ball is recovered.

This formation offers significant numerical superiority in midfield to control the central zones.
