Kjell sits between the posts to direct the defensive unit. The back line operates with a flat four where Gilles acts as the right back to provide width and overlap. Matisse works on the left to support the attack while Jean-Kévin and Stefan occupy the central positions. Stefan and Jean-Kévin must stay close to each other to cover space, with Stefan often stepping up to intercept passes. The defenders must track back quickly to prevent long balls from bypassing the initial press.

The midfield functions as a central engine to connect the defense to the attack. Aimé operates in the advanced role to create chances and find gaps between the lines. Mohammed and Mathias occupy the central areas to shield the defense and win second balls. Mathias often drives forward to support the press, while Mohammed holds his position to recycle possession. This group works to intercept passes and immediately switch play to the wide areas.

In the attacking phase, Gent utilize three attackers to stretch the opposition. Max acts as the lone striker to hold up the ball and bring others into play. On the wings, Momodou and Tibe look to cut inside or use their pace to beat defenders. The wingers press high to force mistakes from the opposition full backs.
