Haaland and Agüero occupy the central areas as two forwards. Haaland uses his physical presence to hold up the ball, and Agüero moves between the lines to find pockets of space. This front four is designed to press the opposition backline aggressively.

Man City gains a huge advantage through numerical superiority in the attacking zones. Having four players high up the pitch allows them to create wide overloads and isolate defenders.
