Mauro stays between the posts to guard the goal. The defensive unit is extremely thin, consisting of a back two with Ramiro Teo and Lucas acting as the primary central defenders. These two must hold the line and remain very disciplined, as they have little cover behind them. Ramiro Teo and Lucas are tasked with clearing the lines and winning the second ball whenever the opposition tries to go direct. Bautista and Felipe operate in the half spaces as attacking midfielders, looking to create chances and arrive late into the box. This heavy midfield presence allows the team to control the tempo and ensure they always have an outlet to pass to when building from the back.

Up front, the team utilizes two forwards in a partnership consisting of Mauro and Joaquin. These two act as the focal points for the long passes or quick combinations coming from the heavy midfield. Mauro and Joaquin are expected to press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. The attacking movement relies on the midfielders finding the feet of the striker or playing through the lines to catch the defense off guard.
