Dimarco acts as a wing back who loves to overlap and deliver crosses, whereas Baku tracks back to ensure the team maintains a solid block when out of possession.

Moving into the attacking third, the team utilizes three forwards. Pio Esposito leads the line as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and bring others into play. On the wings, Lautaro and Gnonto / Diaby look to cut inside to create goal-scoring opportunities. Lautaro often drifts into central areas to act as a second striker, while Gnonto / Diaby uses pace to stretch the opposition defense. This frontline works together to press the opposition backline immediately upon losing the ball.
