The lineup is built to sit deep in a mid-block and wait for the opposition to commit men forward before hitting them in behind. CHRISTINO guards the goal and organizes the defensive unit from the back. The back line consists of a central trio of PETRUS, JACKSON, and MISUN who defend zonally to maintain a tight line. PETRUS acts as the central anchor, while JACKSON and MISUN provide cover to the sides. On the flanks, BILLIE and SIDU function as attacking wing backs. They are tasked with providing width when the team has the ball but must track back quickly to form a back five when the opposition attacks.

The midfield operates as a three-man midfield with a single pivot. LEONEL sits in front of the defense to shield the back three and intercept passes. He works alongside GARRY and CESPER, who occupy the half-spaces to connect the defense to the attack. GARRY and CESPER are responsible for carrying the ball forward and pressing in a mid-block to win the ball back high up the pitch. This trio ensures the team remains compact, preventing the opposition from playing through the center.

In the final third, the team utilizes two forwards in a partnership. AMY and JUSHTIAN play as the striking duo, looking to exploit any space left by the opposition defense. AMY often operates as a pressing centre-forward to force long balls, while JUSHTIAN works to hold up the ball and link up with the advancing midfielders. The attacking moves often rely on the wing backs, BILLIE and SIDU, to provide width and deliver crosses into the box for the two strikers to attack the near post or far post.

This formation offers significant tactical advantages, particularly in its ability to defend in a narrow defensive block. By having five defenders, the team can easily double up on wide players and protect the central area. Another strength is the speed of transition. When the ball is won, the team can quickly move from a defensive posture to an attacking one using the overlapping runs of the wing backs to stretch the defense.
