The midfield operates as a central engine with a three man midfield featuring a carrier and creative threats. HOJBJERG acts as the anchor to shield the defense and win the second ball, while STROMBERG provides energy to drive forward with the ball and connect the defensive and attacking lines. LITMANEN plays as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find the feet of the attackers or arrive late into the box. This central unit works to press in a mid block to force a long ball from the opponent.

In the attacking third, the team utilizes two forwards in a partnership to pin the last defender. HAALAND acts as the main threat with his physical presence and ability to run in behind, while JUVE works in tandem to provide link up play between the lines. The wide players, HELVEG on the right and RIISE on the left, act as attacking wing backs who push high to provide width. They look to overlap the midfielders and deliver crosses into the box to find HAALAND or JUVE.
