André and Breno occupy the central spaces to shield the back line and intercept passes, while Rodrigo pushes higher into the attacking midfield role to link play. This trio works to close down spaces between the lines, ensuring that the opposition cannot easily play through the middle of the pitch.

Two forwards spearhead the attacking efforts for Corinthians. Memphis operates from the left side of the strike partnership, looking to cut inside and create chances, while Yuri leads the line as the primary target to hold up the ball and stretch the defense. These two attackers lead the press from the front, forcing the opposition to make hurried passes and creating opportunities for the midfield to win possession in advanced areas.

One major strength of this formation is the ability to create numerical superiority in the defensive third, making it nearly impossible for opponents to find space in the box. The wide overloads from Matheuzinho and Matheus also offer a way to switch play and bypass a crowded midfield.
