Dominating through high pressing and quick transitions is the goal for Fulham in this 4-3-3. The team relies on verticality to break lines and catch opponents out of position before they can set. This formation seeks to control the pitch by pushing the players high up the field to win the ball back quickly in the opponent half.

Bernd stays between the posts to command the area and start attacks. A flat back four forms the base of the defensive unit with Timothy and Antonee acting as full backs. Timothy looks to overlap on the right while Antonee pushes forward to provide width on the left. In the center, Joachim and Calvin act as the primary defenders, with Joachim often using his aerial strength to clear crosses and Calvin providing cover when the full backs push up.

The midfield operates with a mix of control and movement. Sander and Sasa work to hold the ball and connect the defense to the attackers. Sander often drops deeper to protect the back line while Sasa drives forward into the half spaces. Emile operates as the attacking midfielder, sitting in the pocket behind the strikers to create chances. This trio works to intercept passes and press the opposition midfielders to prevent them from building play.

Attacking much of the play goes through three forwards. Raul acts as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and link play with the midfielders. Kevin and Oscar occupy the wide areas as wingers. Kevin likes to cut inside from the left to shoot or pass, while Oscar stays wide on the right to stretch the defense. This lineup forces the opposing defenders to stay wide, creating gaps in the middle for Raul or Emile to run into.

Fulham gains a significant advantage through their ability to press high in coordinated waves. By pushing the front three and Emile forward, they force turnovers in dangerous areas. Another strength is the width provided by Antonee and Timothy, which allows the team to create overloads on the flanks. This pressure makes it difficult for opponents to pass out from the back without making errors.

This 4-3-3 is built for a team that wants to dictate the tempo through aggressive pressing. It is best suited for matches against opponents that struggle to play under pressure or leave large gaps between their midfield and defensive lines.
