This front three works to create constant movement, stretching the defense to open lanes for Antoine to exploit.

One major strength of this Atlético lineup is the ability to press high in coordinated waves. When the front three push up, the midfield jumps to close down passing lanes, creating immense pressure. Another advantage comes from the wide overloads created when Nahuel and Robin push forward. This forces the opposition to defend much wider areas, which leaves gaps in the middle for Alexander and Antoine to run into.
