The attacking unit utilizes three forwards to stretch the opposition. D. J. Saguer leads the line as a lone striker, tasked with holding up the ball and making runs to pull defenders out of position. On the wings, L. Unzaim and E. Avalos act as wide attackers who look to cut inside or use their pace to drive at the back line. This front three is expected to press the opposition defenders immediately upon losing possession to prevent easy build up play.

One major advantage for Paraguay is the defensive compactness offered by the five defenders, which makes it difficult for opponents to find gaps between the lines. The wing backs, M. Gavillan and C. Cantero, allow the team to create wide overloads during transitions, turning a defensive block into an attacking threat. Additionally, the formation allows the team to isolate D. J. Saguer against tired defenders once the midfield breaks the line.
