Al-Nassr (KSA) Football Formation
Starting Lineup
SAMIM (1) · ROHIT (2) · SURYA (3) · SUDIPTA (4) · MANIK (6) · ARYAN (11) · EKRAMUL (8) · DEBAKAR (5) · SAHIN (17) · AMIT (10) · SREMONTA (7)A high pressing identity defines Al-Nassr as they operate within a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup focuses on winning the ball back quickly and driving the play forward through central channels. By staying compact and aggressive, Al-Nassr intends to control the tempo of the game through heavy pressure in the opposition half.
SAMIM guards the goal as the last line of defense. Ahead of him, a flat back four maintains a high line to compress the pitch. SUDIPTA and MANIK act as the central defensive pair, where MANIK covers the left side and SUDIPTA handles the right. ROHIT and SURYA operate as full backs, tasked with tracking back to protect the flanks or pushing up to provide width. This defensive unit works to intercept passes and force attackers into crowded central areas.
The midfield engine room relies on a three man central block to link the defensive and attacking lines. DEBAKAR sits in the middle to hold the position and shield the defense from direct runs. On either side, EKRAMUL and ARYAN operate as the more active components, with EKRAMUL working the left side and ARYAN controlling the right. These players are responsible to break the line with vertical passes and step up to press the opposition midfield.
In the final third, the team employs three attackers to stretch the opposition. SREMONTA leads the line as a lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and occupy the center backs. On the wings, AMIT and SAHIN provide constant width, with AMIT cutting inside from the left and SAHIN looking to cross from the right. The movement of these forwards is designed to create space for the midfielders to arrive late in the penalty area.
Several tactical advantages emerge from this specific formation. The presence of three central midfielders allows Al-Nassr to create numerical superiority in the middle of the pitch. Wide overloads are frequently created when ROHIT or SURYA overlap the wingers to send crosses into the box. Additionally, the front three can press in coordinated waves, making it difficult for the opponent to build play from the back.
This 4-3-3 formation provides a balance of defensive stability and aggressive attacking intent. It is best suited for games where the team needs to dominate possession and punish opponents through quick transitions.
