Satin and Olessen occupy the central spaces to link the defense to the attack, using their ability to pass and move to keep possession. Grosse operates in the hole as an attacking midfielder, looking to find gaps between the opponent lines and feed the forwards.

In the final third, the team deploys three attackers to create constant pressure. Maderner leads the line as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and bring others into play. On the flanks, Harakate and Frieser act as wide wingers to provide width and stretch the opposing defense. Their role is to cut inside or deliver crosses into the box, creating movement that pulls defenders out of position and opens channels for Grosse to exploit.
