This lineup is built to suffocate opponents in their own half and strike quickly through a crowded forward line. I Tape stays between the posts to anchor the defensive side of the formation. Because the team operates with only two central defenders, S Silva and M Mahlangu must defend much of the pitch. These two central defenders need to be physically dominant to handle long balls and must step up to intercept passes before the opposition can find space. They cover large amounts of ground to protect the central zone, as the lack of full backs means they cannot rely on wide cover during transitions.

The midfield functions as a central block of four to provide control and support the pressing triggers. L Motaung acts as the single pivot to shield the defense and win back possession. Beside him, S Letsoenyo and M Mvelase operate in the central roles to drive forward and link the back line to the attackers. M Mbunjana provides additional depth in the central area to help the team maintain compactness and prevent the opposition from passing through the middle. This group of four works to press in waves and block passing lanes toward the center.

In the attacking third, the team utilizes a heavy front four to overwhelm the opposition. J Zindoga and S Mahlambi occupy the wide areas as wingers, ready to cut inside or provide width to stretch the defense. In the center, T Kakora and S George act as two central forwards to occupy the defenders. This pair works to hold up the ball and make runs behind the defensive line. The wingers and central forwards press high together, forcing the opposition to play long or make mistakes under pressure.

TS Galaxy gains a significant advantage through numerical superiority in the attacking and midfield zones. The four midfielders and four attackers can quickly create overloads to bypass a low block. This formation also allows for high pressing in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to build play from the back.
