Czechia operates with a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to play a direct and vertical style of football that relies on heavy pressing and quick transitions. The team aims to win the ball high up the pitch and push forward immediately to exploit spaces behind the opponent defense.

In goal, KOVÁŘ acts as the first point of distribution. The defensive unit sits with a back three consisting of KREJČÍ, CHALOUPEK, and HRANÁČ. KREJČÍ covers the left side while HRANÁČ provides strength on the right. CHALOUPEK sits in the center to direct the line and mark the striker. This back three works to keep the unit compact, stepping up together to catch attackers offside or dropping back to protect the space behind when the team sits deep.

The midfield utilizes a central duo of SOUČEK and DARIDA to control the middle of the pitch. SOUČEK acts as the main shield, using his presence to intercept passes and tackle opponents to break up play. DARIDA works to connect the defense to the attack, often looking to switch play or drive the ball forward. On the flanks, JURÁSEK and COUFAL operate as wide midfielders who provide much of the width. They are expected to track back to support the defenders and overlap when the wingers cut inside.

The attacking line features three players who press in coordinated waves. SCHICK leads the line as the lone striker, using his movement to hold up the ball and create gaps for others. On the flanks, ŠULC and PROVOD act as inverted wingers, looking to cut inside into central areas to shoot or provide final passes. This movement pulls the opposition defenders out of position, creating space for the wide midfielders to run into.

Czechia gains a significant advantage through the ability to press high in coordinated waves. By using the three forwards and the wide midfielders, the team can squeeze the opponent in their own half. Another strength is the numerical superiority in the wide areas when JURÁSEK or COUFAL overlap the wingers, creating overloads that allow for low crosses into the box.
