This lineup is designed to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly break the lines to reach the goal. ATUBOLU operates as the goalkeeper behind a back three. LACROIX (C) sits in the center to command the area and block crosses. BASTONI plays on the left of the trio and uses his passing range to build play from deep. BISSECK stays on the right to cover space and mark runners. The defensive unit can step up to a high line to squeeze the opponent or drop into a low block to stay compact when defending deep.

The midfield functions through a central pair of BARELLA and ANDRÉ. BARELLA drives forward to join the attack and link the lines, while ANDRÉ works to shield the defense and intercept passes. BAKU and DIMARCO occupy the wide areas to provide the necessary width for the team. They must track back to help the defenders and push up to support the strikers during the attack.

The attacking unit features three players in a front line. LAUTARO leads the line as the striker, using his pressing intensity and ability to hold up the ball to create chances. DIABY and LEWELING stay wide to stretch the defense, often looking to cut inside to shoot. This movement creates space for DIMARCO and BAKU to overlap and deliver crosses into the box.

A primary strength is the ability to create wide overloads. When DIMARCO or BAKU push high, they provide numerical superiority on the flanks against the opposition wingers. The team also shows great speed of transition. They can switch play quickly through the midfield to isolate DIABY or LEWELING in one on one situations. This allows the team to punish opponents that are slow to recover.
