Starting Lineup

LUCAS (ARCANJO) · NATHAN (MENDES) · CACÁ · LUAN (CÂNDIDO) · RAMON · CAÍQUE (GONÇALVES) · BARALHAS · MATHEUZINHO · ERICK · AITOR (CANTALAPIEDRA) · RENATO (KAYZER)

Vitória plays with a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to play a high press and use verticality to break lines quickly. The goal for Vitória is to win the ball high up the pitch and transition into attack before the opponent can get organized.

LUCAS acts as the last line of defense behind a flat back four. RAMON plays as the left back to provide width, while NATHAN works on the right side to overlap and push forward. In the center, CACÁ and LUAN form the defensive pair, with CACÁ often using his aerial strength to clear crosses. This defensive unit works to stay compact and step up to catch attackers offside when the team presses.

The midfield operates with a combination of roles to connect the defense to the attack. CAÍQUE and BARALHAS work to shield the back four and intercept passes in the central zone. MATHEUZINHO plays more advanced, acting as an attacking ten to drive forward into the final third. This three man unit helps the team retain possession and provides the necessary links to move the ball from the defensive half into the attacking positions.

Vitória utilizes three attackers to stretch the opposition. RENATO leads the line as a lone striker to hold up the ball and provide a focal point. On the wings, ERICK and AITOR act as wide attackers who look to cut inside or cross the ball into the box. This front line is designed to press high, forcing errors from the opposing defenders to create immediate scoring chances.

This formation offers clear tactical advantages, such as the ability to press high in coordinated waves to win the ball back. By using NATHAN and RAMON to push high, the team creates wide overloads that force the opponent to shift and leave gaps in the middle. The presence of MATHEUZINHO between the lines also allows the team to create numerical superiority in the attacking third.

The 4-3-3 formation relies on aggressive pressing and quick transitions to dominate games. It is best suited for matches where Vitória can exploit space behind a high defensive line.
