The midfield consists of a central trio that connects the defense to the attack. FERNANDO plays as a central midfielder who works to shield the back four and intercept passes. WILLIAN operates in the left central role to drive forward and carry the ball into the final third. GUSTAVO plays as the attacking ten, sitting just behind the forwards to create chances and break the line with through balls. This trio ensures the team stays connected during both phases of play.

Coritiba uses three attackers to pressure the opposition. KENO plays as an inverted winger on the left, looking to cut inside and shoot, while JOAQUÍN occupies the right wing to stretch the play.
