The defensive unit must shift together to prevent balls being played through the middle.

The midfield functions with a central trio that links the defense to the forward line. MIKEL and KAI occupy the central slots to control the rhythm and protect the center of the pitch. KAI acts to drive forward into the half spaces, while MIKEL stays deeper to intercept passes and shield the back four. LEANDRO plays as the attacking ten, operating in the pockets of space between the opposition midfield and defense to create chances.

Arsenal utilizes three attackers to pin the opposition back. GABRIEL plays as the lone striker to hold up the ball and lead the press from the front.
